Fireplace lining comprising : - A gilded and carved bronze clock, the body in porcelain with a blue powdered background and gilded decoration topped by a floral basket motif animated by two doves, the handles simulating lion muffins. The circular dial surrounded by a knotted garland is adorned with a cherub and signed L. BARBASTE in Paris. It rests on a richly sculpted base of putti, garlands and volutes, applied plant friezes and finished with four wafer feet and two scrolls. Blade suspension movement. - A pair of candelabra with five moving light arms simulating foliage scrolls, the porcelain body adorned with medallions depicting gallant scenes and landscapes resting on a fluted pedestal animated with pastilles and finished by an octagonal section base on eight scrolled feet.
