ZINEDINE ZIDANE N° 10
FOOTBALL JERSEY, attacking midfielder, Equipe de France, worn by Zinedine Zidane during the friendly match France - Romania (2-1) on February 13, 2002 at the Stade de France. Zidane played 71 minutes of this friendly match which took place four months before the World Cup, when the blue team were title holders. Zidane celebrates during this match the 71st of his 108 selections in the French team. Ballon d'Or winner and world champion in 1998, finalist of the World Cup in 2006, Zidane is considered the best French player of all time. At club level, he won the Champions League and is Spanish champion with Real Madrid, as well as Italian champion with Juventus. From 2001 to 2009, he was the most expensive player in the history of soccer, following his transfer from Juventus to Real Madrid for the then record sum of 77 million euros. Now a coach, Zidane is the first manager in history to win three consecutive Champions Leagues. (marks on the left wrist). We would like to thank Mr. Jérôme Sillon for his help in writing this file.
