HIROSHIGE Utagawa (1797-1858) Yôdô gyôretsu dôchû no zu, Procession of a daimyo by children, circa 1835. Third part of the triptych Color print representing the procession of a daimyo by young boys through the countryside. A daimyo was a Japanese local lord, he is represented in this triptych on the central print and our print represents footmen carrying trunks. Format Ōban tate-e: At sight: Height: 25 cm - Width: 37, 5 cm Traces of moisture. A similar copy is preserved in the Honolulu Museum of Art. Framed in gilded wood, carved and openworked with pagodas. Work in the Indochinese taste, Maury house. Frame : 61 x 70 cm Accidents and missing parts
