PORCELAINES FRANCAISES XIXE SIECLE PARIS A pair of conical porcelain planters, with gilded and polychrome decoration on a wine-red ground, the neck animated by friezes of gilded pearls and a repeated ringed motif on the foot, the gilded handles simulating lion's heads, the body animated by a flowery net, One features a tambourine player, the other a water carrier, and the other a medallion with a bouquet in reserve. They stand on wine-red bases. Late 19th century Height: 18 cm - Diameter: 17 cm The gold is worn and some pearl motifs are missing.
