A propos
Les bijoux de la légende de la Croix du Sud" is a collection of 21 crosses. They are made of silver by blacksmiths. These 21 crosses are considered to be emblems of a locality or region. Eleven are from Aïr (Agadez, Iférouane, Aïr, In Abangaret, Timia, Crip-crip, Thimoumoumène, Ingall, Taghmert, Takadenden, Bagzan), four are from Azawak (Abalak, Tilya, Tchintabaraden, In Wagar), four represent the other centers of Niger (Tahoua, Madaoua, Bilma, Zinder). Two have no geographical significance: Karagha (wooden bed) and Bartchakea (highly decorated)".
