A propos
"The jewels of the legend of the Southern Cross list 21 models of crosses. They are made of silver by blacksmiths. These 21 crosses are considered to be emblems of a locality or region. Eleven are from Aïr (Agadez, Iférouane, Aïr, In Abangaret, Timia, Crip-crip, Thimoumoumène, Ingall, Taghmert, Takadenden, Bagzan), four are from Azawak (Abalak, Tilya, Tchintabaraden, In Wagar), four represent the other centers of Niger (Tahoua, Madaoua, Bilma, Zinder). Two have no geographical significance: Karagha (wooden bed) and Bartchakea (highly decorated)".
