According to Leopold WIENER (1823-1891) Bronze medal with brown patina decorated with the profile of King Leopold I on the obverse and two allegories in the antique style on the reverse side. Medal issued for the XXV anniversary of the King's inauguration. Diameter: 7.5 cm Good condition, small shocks. The following are attached: - From HART Medal in gilt bronze, with a high relief effigy of King Leopold I on the obverse and an allegory in ancient style on the reverse. Issued for the inauguration of the railway from Verviers to Aachen on 15 October 1843. Diameter: 7.4 cm (small shocks) - Bronze medal with brown patina featuring on the obverse the portrait of King Leopold I and on the reverse an allegory surmounting a steam locomotive. Diameter: 5.5 cm (shocks) - Bronze medal with brown patina on the obverse of the portrait of King Leopold I. Diameter: 5 cm
